Cloudscope

Cloudscope, colour videoloop, DVD.

This is the photo documentation for the video installation I did as part of the dynamic architectural duo Durbach/Block‘s contribution to the Elizabeth House show, “CHANGING SPACES” in 2006/7. Have a look at Maryam Gusheh or Paul Berkemeier’s review for a more in depth account of the exhibition.

For this they created a sensual though minimal response to the 19th century space, located in one of Sydney’s most beautiful areas, near the harbour in the inner city.

My piece is called “Cloudscope” and responds to their architecture and the site. As the at times washed out video image drifts across the wall, we almost feel as if the outside clouds are being telescoped in to the room/apartment/home.

Cloudscope video documentation.
